Newark, Nottinghamshire, Full time, Permanent

Salary £26,000 - £28,00 per annum

THE ROLE

As a
Shipping Coordinator your role will involve:

Providing delivery advice, method of transport of goods and restrictions of hazardous goods
Actively advise Customers on shipping requirements for successful delivery
Ensure compliance with international rules and regulations
Producing invoices and packing lists along with any other appropriate documents
Making declarations for Dangerous goods and ensuring packages are correctly labelled for Hazardous materials
Support the business with changes in trade rules

THE CANDIDATE
An ideal
Shipping Coordinator will possess the following attributes:

Experience in a similar role
Previous experience of import/export freight shipping and an understanding of customs procedures
MS Office proficient
Strong Administrator skills with an eye for detail
Understanding of VAT (advantageous)
Knowledge of IATA and ADR regulations
An organised individual who can thrive in a fast paced environment
