Our client is a leading wholesale food distributor and the preferred supplier for over 60,000 customers across the UK. We have a new opportunity to join our client as an Administration Clerk to join their office in Southport.

This position is well suited to an organised and process driven person who is looking to join a busy finance team.

The Administration Clerk will be based in the Receipt Management Team and will report to the Receipt Management Supervisor. The Administration Clerk will be tasked with Posting and Allocating all Payments received across the business.


Responsibilities

  • Post and allocate all payments received.
  • Responsible for making decisions daily on Allocations from remittances.
  • Open Post on a Rota Basis
  • Obtain Remittances for allocation purposes.
  • Assist with other adhoc administration tasks.

Requirements:


  • Previous experience in an office setting
  • Good Data input and Keyboard Skills
  • Good Numeracy Skills
  • Good knowledge of Excel/ spreadsheets
  • Organizational and time management skills
  • Confident and motivated
  • Good knowledge of the internal processes, procedures, and computer systems.
