Linux / Wintel Engineer | Contract | Hybrid | Inside IR35 | Competitive market rates | Moorgate

The Role:

The opportunity is to join a prestigious financial services organisation.

They are a leading trader within the commodities market and are a global organisation which provides many technological opportunities within its business.

This position will be focusedon BAU work covering Linux, Wintel and Storage.

  • This client operates on a hybrid working model with 2 days being onsite in Moorgate_

The Responsibilities:


  • Linux Administration
  • Supporting both physical servers and virtual machines
  • Performing system backups
  • Being a point of escalation for junior members
  • Security and maintenance work

Skills and Experience:


  • Strong experience with
    RedHat Linux:
  • Storage experience with

Netapp Cluster Data ONTAP v9:


  • Veritas Netbackup v8
  • Understanding of
    Fabric Configuration FAS:
  • Good experience with
    VMware:
  • Good
    Windows knowledge:
  • Experience with
    Citrix,:
  • Experience with
    Sharepoint
