My Client are seeking a Global Procurement Manager to join their team in Cheltenham.

Key responsibilities include coordinating and managing the external Supply Review, acting as the process owner for procurement, providing methods support for procurement teams, and coordinating and implementing actions to improve the performance of tools suchas the ERP and supplier portal.

The Global Procurement Manager will also contribute to supplier planning, shipping arrangements, returns to suppliers, buyer-furnished equipment contracts, and the training of new procurement personnel.



REQUIRED SKILLS AND QUALITIES
Knowledge

  • Procurement processes and SAP transactions
  • Proficiency in MRP2 processes
  • Overview of internal and external productionrelated flows
  • Knowledge of KPIs/dashboards and data management

Skills:


  • Procurement roles in previous experience
  • Data and information structuring
  • Ability to propose solutions to meet customer requirements
  • Ability to communicate verbally and in writing with Englishspeaking correspondents
Qualities

  • Customer focus and sense of commitment
  • Listening skills
  • Diligence and autonomy
  • Mentoring skills

REQUIRED
Education

  • Engineering or Operations Management University level (BAC+5 or Bachelor). MBA would be an asset
  • Supply Chain CPIM or equivalent trained and certified
Experiences

  • 5 to 8 years in supply chain management
Languages

  • English mandatory, French would be an asset
