We have a vacancy for an enthusiastic and dedicated Early Years Practitioner to join our team on a full-time hours per week) basis.

Muirton Community Nursery is committed to providing families with high quality, flexible care and education under the supervision of highly trained and motivated staff.

We are dedicated to providing a safe and nurturing environment which allows children to feel happy and relaxed in order for them to reach their full potential.

One year of experience working in the early years sector.

Knowledge of Curriculum for Excellence.

Knowledge and understanding of current documents, including but not inclusive of Realising the Ambition, Health and Social Care Standards, How Good is Our Early Learning and Childcare, My World Outdoors.

Excellent communication skills.

The ability to work within a team as well as use their own initiative.

The ability to create strong bonds with children and their families.

A strong interest in outdoor play and an understanding of its benefits.

A strong interest in loose parts play and an understanding of its benefits.

Knowledge of responsive planning and the ability to contribute to this.

Knowledge of observing, monitoring, and tracking children's development.

Salary:
From £20,000.00 per year
