We are a small, friendly, busy gardening company based in Morden, SM4, and serving Wimbledon, Chelsea and surrounding areas.

Our business has seen extraordinary growth recently, so we are now expanding and looking for a full-time experienced Head Gardener to join our dedicated and professional team.

Working on our prestigious domestic and commercial garden maintenance contracts - this is a most enviable role.

We pride ourselves on creating and maintaining beautiful gardens - from the basic maintenance of existing gardens through to delivering lawn treatments, exceptional pruning, fertilising and other improvements necessary depending on client's requests.

Good plant knowledge and proper gardening skills are essential and to be able to deliver high quality work all the time with a "positive can-do attitude".

You should be able to work on your own and as a part of a team.


Our requirements:

• Minimum 3 years' experience working in garden maintenance in UK
• Be able and responsible to run your designed round of clients on a weekly basis
• Good communication skill, polite and professional at all times
• Experience using petrol machines and power tools
• Good level of spoken English
• Physically fit and able to work in any weather condition
• Positive attitude
• Hard working and committed
• Honest, reliable, Punctual
• Be able to drive safely a long wheelbase Transit van around the Wimbledon area so you will need a CLEAN FULL UK DRIVING LICENCE and be over 25 year old for insurance purpose (up to 3 points can be considered)
• Locally based, you will be required to meet 7:30am in the Wimbledon area, or have the means to commute easily to Wimbledon area
• It would be advantageous to have some fencing, general hard landscaping experience
• Spray certificate (PA1/PA6) is a bonus but not essential. Training can be arranged.
• Horticultural certification is a bonus but not essential (Positive attitude is more important)

We Offer:

• Salary: £28,000 to £32,000 per year (Full time, prorata)
• Holidays: 28 days per year
