Sphere Solution are seeking a motivated and ambitious Head of Projects to lead the programme delivery of construction works, Circ.

£20m / annum. The works will include complex installation of high containment areas and within a restrictive environment. Project types will include, maintenance of built and infrastructure assets as well as high value capital works programmes.

You will manage project teams and be responsible for the project delivery on all sites.

This is a new appointment working across both estates including 7500 acres at Porton Down which contains some of the most advanced laboratories in Europe.


As The Head of Projects, responsibilities will include - establishing a delivery team, developing an annual programme, scoping of projects, main contractor selection, the safe and profitable delivery of complex or high profile projects, design management, whilst updating and maintaining a CAFM system.


  • Experience of delivering construction projects of a complex nature in restrictive environments
  • Evidence as Project delivery in a building discipline
  • Budgetary, compliance and health & safety management
  • A construction or property related qualification.


  • Excellent IT skills

  • MS office and any experience of using CAFM will be advantage. Full Driving License
On offer is a salary Circ. £70,000 with car / allowance plus package. You will be required to have the relevant security clearance.
