ASSEMBLY OPERATIVE

Finish at 1pm every Friday


Our client is a very well established and successful Manufacturing company who are looking to recruit an AssemblyOperative to work at Head Office within a busy and supportive team.

The environment is totally secure as they have been established for over 60 years.

Fabulous opportunity to join a secure business and NO WEEK ENDS Relevant experience is not necessary, just a positive and enthusiastic approach to work and keen to be part of a fantastic company If you have prior experience of working in Warehouses, Workshops or Assembly Lines this could be perfect for you.

An interest in mechanics or electrics would be an advantage. You will be given opportunities for career progression


The role of the Assembly Operative is busy and you will work with a wide range of products and components.

You will be given comprehensive training on the wide range of products and on
- going support will be provided. You will be based in a friendly Assembly team that is busy but supportive.

  • Assembling components to create subassemblies
  • Handling small components
  • Using hand tools
  • Testing range of different components working to a high level of detail
  • Completion of Test Certificates and Packing sheets
  • Conducting some manual tasks
  • You will be good with your hands with strong attention to detail
  • Have a keen interest in either mechanical or electrical components or both
  • Enjoy assembling components and keen to learn
  • Strong work ethic good time keeping, etc.
  • No experience is necessary, just a willingness to learn
  • Enjoy working in a team
  • Desire to commit long term to the business


The Assembly Operative is a permanent and secure role and you will be based in a friendly environment and really friendly team and there is progression for an individual who is committed and enthusiastic.

£22,500.00-£23,500.00 per year
