I am seeking to recruit Cover Supervisors to work across Secondary schools in and around Ebbw Vale and Blaenau Gwent.

The school supports learners in Key Stage 3, 4 and 5 and as a result I am looking for cover supervisors in or around Ebbw Vale and Blaenau Gwent who are experienced in these roles.

As a Welsh Government framework staffing provider, we will give you the opportunity to work in Primary, Secondary and SEN schools as well as numerous privately run education provisions across Wales.

Overview:

Title: Cover Supervisor
Pay: £85.00 per day minimum
Location: Ebbw Vale and Blaenau Gwent
Hours: Ad Hoc, Short Term and Long Term
Monday to Friday 830am 330pm*

The role:
What you'll be doing as a Cover Supervisor

Lead a classroom of learners
Key Stage 3, 4 and/or
Preparing the classroom for lessons
Working with learners in small groups and or working 1:1 with children with additional needs on occasions

Deliver pre-planned work in the absence of the class teacher Assist learners at break time with their lunch where required

Engage learners with both classroom and out of classroom activities Work in accordance to the school's behaviour management policies

At least 3 months experience of working with children in schools, nurseries or childcare settings experience within an secondary school setting would be beneficial
Registration with the EWC (the Education Workforce Council) we can help you with this
References covering the last two years (no gaps)
Hold a current Enhanced DBS on the update service or be willing to obtain one
The right to work in the UK
