    A CDM Health & Safety Consultant opportunity has arisen at a growing consultancy in Swansea, with occasional site travel across the Southwest.

    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled CDM professional to provide technical support to clients while receiving full support for training and qualifications, with a clear progression route to Director.

    This is an ideal role for a CDM professional with health and safety experience in the construction industry looking to develop their career with structured training and clear progression to Director.

    The consultancy operates across South Wales and the Southwest of England, offering specialist health and safety advice within the construction industry.

    Responsibilities include acting as either the Principal Designer or CDM Advisor, managing projects, reviewing risk assessments, method statements, and construction phase plans, and providing expert advice on their suitability.

    You will also be required to visit sites occasionally, both before and during construction, to conduct risk appraisals and ensure CDM compliance.

    The Ideal Candidate

    The ideal candidate will have strong health and safety and CDM knowledge, enabling them to provide detailed professional advice to clients.

    A full UK driving license is essential to facilitate site visits when required.

    Key Requirements

    • Providing technical CDM and Health & Safety advice to a range of clients
    • Acting as Principal Designer or CDM Advisor
    • Based in the Swansea office, with occasional site travel
    • Excellent opportunity for technical development and progression to Director

    About You

    We are looking for a CDM Health & Safety Consultant with:

    • Experience as a Principal Designer
    • NEBOSH qualified
    • Within a commutable distance of the Swansea office
    • Full UK driving license
