Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Health Care Assistant to join our team.
As a Senior Health Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing quality care and support to our residents.
This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about senior care and have strong leadership skills.Responsibilities:
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals
- Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, SATS and temperature
- Create and update care plans for residents
- Lead and guide other healthcare staff
- Provide emotional support to residents
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents
- Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and professionals such as District Nurses, GP's, Social Workers and the Teletriage team
Skills:
- Previous experience in a care home or similar setting is preferred
- Proficient in using a computerised care planning system
- Strong leadership skills to supervise and guide other healthcare staff
- Ability to create and implement care plans based on individual resident needs
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
- A recognised qualification in Health and Social Care, such as NVQ 3, is preferred

Salary:
£12.00-£12.50 per hour
