Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Health Care Assistant to join our team.

As a Senior Health Care Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing quality care and support to our residents.

This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are passionate about senior care and have strong leadership skills.


Responsibilities:


  • Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals
  • Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure, SATS and temperature
  • Create and update care plans for residents
  • Lead and guide other healthcare staff
  • Provide emotional support to residents
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents
  • Communicate effectively with residents, their families, and professionals such as District Nurses, GP's, Social Workers and the Teletriage team

Skills:


  • Previous experience in a care home or similar setting is preferred
  • Proficient in using a computerised care planning system
  • Strong leadership skills to supervise and guide other healthcare staff
  • Ability to create and implement care plans based on individual resident needs
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with residents, families, and healthcare professionals
  • A recognised qualification in Health and Social Care, such as NVQ 3, is preferred

£12.00-£12.50 per hour
