Location UK Onshore:
Hybrid with occasional travel to Office when required for team meetings

We are looking for a Management Accountant to work in Fujitsu Finance UK Project and Contract Accounting team.

Initially you would be supporting strategic customer accounts in our Public Sector Business Line, notably Home Office and Shared Service Connect Limited (SSCL).


Your role will involve:

  • Ownership of full financials including preparation and presentation of month end actuals providing variance analysis and flash commentary to Account Delivery Executives and their teams
  • Responsibility for all internal and external reporting on actuals, quarterly forecasts and Account lifetime views
  • Focus is on Contract accounting experience, ability to challenge Delivery Execs and Service Managers on their financials
  • Responsibility for all internal reporting into Public Sector Finance Business Partners
  • Financial modelling and decision support during commercial negotiations over the lifetime of the Contracts
  • Assisting the service delivery teams to identify and track cost savings and understand variances to the original contracted baseline
  • Working with Account teams to define appropriate accounting treatments for various adhoc contractual change controls.
  • Working with Project Managers to consolidate churn project financials into Account Financials
  • Getting involved in continuous improvement plans on our ERP system S4HANA (implemented in Apr22)
  • Participating in cross functional project groups to help improve the Finance function
  • Collaboration with and leading of deliverables from Churn Project finance support person if assigned
Your experience

  • CIMA / ACCA qualified with experience of providing business support (newly qualified or qualified by experience acceptable)
  • Motivated individual with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong interpersonal skills able to communicate effectively
  • Confidence to communicate and challenge senior finance and operational leadership teams
  • Good organisational skills with ability to work to tight deadlines and possessing strong attention to detail
  • Excellent IT Skills including Excel
  • IT Services or contract accounting experience desirable
  • SAP S4 Hana ERP experience desirable
  • Must have SC Clearance
