About Digital Trading team

The Digital Trading Team deliver digital trading solutions to optimize growth across the Hiscox UK broker partners This is a specialist team with an exciting digital trading roadmap to deliver.

The team are responsible for broker open market extranet and panel products and bespoke digital scheme builds.

The role

You will lead the product design for eTrade builds across the Acturis panels and Hiscox extranets, bringing Hiscox products into digital channels for our brokers.

You will be working with Product Heads, Underwriting Managers and Underwriters to understand product requirements and bring these into a system design with the digital trading analyst team.

This will need a good working knowledge of Hiscox products and system capabilities, in particular Acturis.

You will be confident working with underwriting and wording teams to deliver product requirements that work for digital and you will get the opportunity to work with our brokers to design and optimise the product journeys.

The ideal person for this role will be motivated, confident and logical, an interest in digital is a must.

What you'll be doing

Working as a team on project deliveries you will take the lead in defining product requirements that work for our brokers digitally and are aligned with our underwriting approach. Working with Product Heads and Underwriting Management across all product lines, throughout delivery you will be involved in product specifications, broker engagement, testing and implementation activities. You will see projects from idea to delivery.
You will take a lead in optimising the Hiscox extranets through ongoing review of customer journeys using data and broker feedback, prioritising and delivering small change improvements
Representing our digital trading roadmap with brokers; being available as an Acturis product expert to support opportunities and account management
Working with the product governance team to embed a product review cycle for digital trading platforms, you will coordinate wording changes for digital platforms
