Financial Controller/business Partner - Christchurch, United Kingdom - Bond Williams
Description
We are working exclusively with a manufacturing client seeking an experienced Financial Controller/Business Partner for a manufacturing division of a large business that operates globally.
Reporting to finance hubs in Europe and the US, you will have responsibility for production of financial statements, analysis and commentary based on actual and forecast revenue/budget, co-ordination of annual and quarterly budgets, forecasts and cash flowprojections.
You would also oversee transactional elements of accounts payable and accounts receivable, prepare reports as requested, handle special projects, participate in strategic planning process and remain alert to any financial issues.
You would also interface with senior management and provide business advice to develop objectives, strategies and tactics, in addition with ensuring compliance to GAAP and SOX etc.
- Ideally fully qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) but someone QBE with relevant experience would be considered
- Experience of operating within a global/US business is essential and an understanding of SOX, CAS and FAR compliance an advantage
- Previous experience of managing a small team
- Strong Excel skills
