General Summary:

This is an electronic or electrical assembly position for an individual to work with a team manufacturing electro-mechanical equipment for industrial, medical and defence markets.

The work is varied and interesting.

Ideally the applicant should have a basic ability to read engineering drawings but training can be provided for someone with adequate practical assembly skills.

You will work on a wide range of electrical assembly, with support available throughout.

You will develop a thorough understanding of HE Electronics products and procedures.


Duties and Responsibilities:

• The mechanical and electrical assembly of a range of electronic equipment.
• Work as a team member within the group, but work autonomously some of the time.
• Maintain assembly quality requirements after undergoing Quality System training.

Key Skills:

• Good practical assembly skills.
• Ability to understand engineering drawings would be an advantage.
• Have good communication skills orally and in writing.
• Some practical engineering ability with hand tools would be an advantage.
• Ability to work well with others.
• Good command of the English language.
• A qualification in IPC soldering standard would be an advantage.

Salary:
£19,000.00-£25,000.00 per year
