Product Owner

£550 - £600 per day ltd (outside IR35)

6 month contract initially, likely extension

Hybrid - 2 days per week in the office (Portsmouth):

Active DV Clearance_
Experience managing a number of digital products: different types and/or different organisations
Specific demonstrable experience PMing a government digital service
Experience working on nontransactional (internal focused) discoveries
Extensive experience working in crossfunctional agile delivery teams
Experience working in discovery, alpha and beta phases with particular interest and experience in discovery
Experience of usercentred design and design practices
Excellent communicator verbally, visually and in writing within teams, with users and with stakeholders
Extensive experience of product e2e product lifecycle and iterative delivery
Extensive experience in helping teams to visualise discovery and product outcomes; ensuring that the team fully understands the vision and associated requirements and outputs
Extensive experience setting strategic direction and working with crossfunctional team in executing the vision at a tactical level
Experience ensuring that services fit in with organisation priorities
Experience in setting the project and product vision, and engaging the teams/stakeholders in the development of the vision over time
Experience in planning and putting into operation, the stages of new a product or service
Experience in developing, owning and managing the product and features roadmap
Extensive experience in stakeholder engagement and presenting to senior stakeholders
Extensive experience ensuring the service will meet user, accessibility, and organisational needs
Experienced and comfortable helping define a backlog and then managing it and prioritising it against multiple inputs from the team and stakeholders
Experienced and comfortable with uncertainty and strategies for incrementally developing the knowledge and understanding of a problem space
Comfortable and experienced developing, iterating and communicating product roadmaps.
