What you'll be doing:
As a vital part of our friendly and compassionate team supported by our experienced Hotel Service Manager, Kevin, you will be an integral part of a passionate team helping to provide meals for our patients and to insure they feel that they are receiving a high quality experience.
You will be involved in all aspects of food and beverage service to patients at all times whilst on duty.
You will serve meals to inpatients and audit the completion of a nutritional intake sheet for each and every meal provided.
You will need to inform staff of any patient who has refused or not eaten much of their meal for onward management.
You will act on any patient dietary requests for additional/alternative food or beverages requirements reporting any difficulty to the Head or second Chef for onward management and also report any patient dissatisfaction regarding catering service to the Head or Second Chef for onward management.
You will work 5 out of 7 days and the shifts for this role are 07:30 am-15:30 pm or 11:30 pm-19:30 pm. This will include some weekend shifts
What we'll look for in you:
As a member of the catering team, you will be responsible for providing an efficient, high quality dedicated food and beverage service, operating in compliance with corporate and local policies and procedures.
- Enjoy working at a fast pace and within a team environment
- Comfortable with working alternate weekends
- A Basic Food Hygiene certificate or willingness to work towards
- Have experience working within a similar role
