Job Title:
Warehouse OperativeMy client are a leading appliances business spanning multiple sectors, seeking an adaptable and conscientious individual to join their dynamic team in a busy warehouse environment

Benefits:

• Working Hours: Monday
• Friday 10am 6pm.

There is a 30 minute unpaid break. 37.
5 hours per week * Overtime:
Opportunities for evening overtime as required

Role Responsibilities:

Picking & Packing:

• Use handheld scanners and pallet trucks to collect various items from around the warehouse.
• Print and attach courier labels to goods.
• Stack items onto pallets to manageable heights.
• Shrink-wrap items onto pallets.
• Strap items onto pallets.

Loading / Unloading Freight:

• Manually hand-ball goods into large vehicles or containers.
• Unload items from vehicles or containers.

General Warehouse Upkeep:

• Sweep aisles.
• Collect empty boxes/pallets from bays.
• Put away stock items not required.
• Remove shrink wrap from certain pallets.

Training:
Ideal candidates will receive training in one or more of the following areas:* Manual Handling

• Counterbalance Forklift
• Clamp TruckQualifications and Skills:
• Experience working in a busy warehouse environment.
• Ability to work well in a team.
• Attention to detail and conscientious work ethic.
• Adaptability to different tasks and responsibilities.
• Physically fit and able to handle manual labour tasks.
