Provide an effective and efficient referral, telephone and digital access service to customers contacting the HSF and Welfare teams in accordance with the Council's Customer Service standards.

To respond to a range of customer and stakeholder enquiries and requests about a range of council services, on the phone, face to face and through electronic media as directed by Derby Adult Learning Service


Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Manage HSF cases and consult with the Team Leader where the initial frontline decision was not possible and a more indepth discussion with the customer is required to achieve a mutually agreed outcome.
  • Liaise with a range of customers (schools, partners, referrers) providing support to ensure maximum uptake of funding, vouchers and support so that it reaches the most vulnerable citizens. This could include giving technical support where required to those using online systems.
