Our newly opened, spectacular care home in Chesterfield is currently seeking
Care Assistants to join us on this exciting new journey.

Goldwell Manor is a purpose-built home, with the needs of the residents being the inspiration.

With a pub for residents, private dining areas and landscaped gardens, this is set to be a glamourous, new home offering residential and specialist dementia support.

With the desire to always improve and develop their staff skillset, you will be encouraged to progress and develop skills, qualifications and training with the support of the company, so no experience is required


What you will receive as a Care Assistant;

£10.45 per hour:

-
Full-time, permanent contract
-
38.5 hours per week on a rolling 6-week rota
-
12 hours shifts, 3 on 3 off, 8am-8pm

What you will be doing as a Care Assistant;

  • Support residents with daily activities such as washing, dressing, eating and maintaining personal hygiene
  • Provide support at meal times
  • Ensure residents maintain good nutrition
  • Assist residents to mobilise safely around the home
  • Undertake light housekeeping duties such as tidying residents' rooms, making and changing beds, etc.
  • Interacting with, and encouraging residents to socialise and take part in activities
  • Liaise with other care professionals relating to the needs of the residents

What you will need to be successful as a Care Assistant;

  • Experience of working within a caring environment
  • NVQ L2 in Direct Care
  • The ability to communicate well and make others feel welcomed and comfortable
  • Supervisory and leadership skills, with a strong ability to motivate and inspire
  • Willingness to develop new skills
