I am working with a Public Sector Organisation based in Westminster who are looking for a OD Advisor for 5 Months Initially.

The role is full time, to start ASAP and paying up to £350 Umbrella per day.

Job Purpose


As the Senior OD Advisor L&D, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a culture of continuous learning and exceptional employee experience.

You will drive the design and implementation of innovative learning strategies to align with our organisational goals and enhance employee growth and engagement.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Learning strategy: Develop and execute a forwardthinking L&D strategy that not only aligns with our longterm objectives but also promotes a culture of learning and employeedriven growth.
  • Employee-

Centric Needs Analysis:

Conduct ongoing assessments to understand the evolving needs of our workforce, anticipating skill requirements, and creating tailored learning solutions that resonate with employees' personal development and career aspirations.


  • Engaging Learning Design: Craft immersive, flexible, and innovative learning experiences that leverage emerging technologies, experiential learning methodologies, ensuring employee engagement and skill retention.
  • Leadership Development: Collaborate with senior management to create leadership development pathways, nurturing a pipeline of future leaders within the organisation.
  • Career pathing and succession Planning: Assisting in the development of career paths and succession plans through targeted training initiatives.
  • Insight-

Driven Learning Improvement:

Establish robust metrics to measure the impact of L&D initiatives on employee experience and organisational outcomes, using insights to continuously refine our learning approach.


  • Change Enablement and

Employee Support:

Lead change management initiatives by fostering effective communication and providing comprehensive training to support employees during organisational transitions or change implementations.


  • Strategic Partnerships: Cultivate collaborations with external partners and industry experts to infuse our learning programmes with cuttingedge insights and resources, enriching our employees' learning journeys.

Knowledge & Skills

  • Expertise: Deep understanding of learning methodologies, performance consulting, and emerging trends in employee learning, including digital platforms and adaptive systems.
  • Influence: Proven ability to influence senior leaders, translating L&D strategies into tangible business impact, with exceptional analytical skills to measure ROI.
  • Crossfunctional collaboration: Working closely with other departments such as HR, operations, and IT to ensure a cohesive approach to employee development and organisational growth.
  • Cultural alignment: Ensuring that our L&D offer support and align with the company's culture, values, and incorporates our EDI principles.
