Blue Heron Research Partners is looking to hire a full time Editor to join our teamWho we are:

We work with some of the world's most prominent investment firms, providing rare insight that informs their portfolio decisions. We combine in-depth primary interviews from custom sources with comprehensive database searches to enhance the standard research process.
Our findings provide our clients with unparalleled intelligence on management teams, companies, and business issues, revealing far more than can be gleaned from numbers.
What you'll do:
- Promptly edit raw transcripts into accurate, concise value
- Use knowledge of compliance processes and policies to flag areas of concern in interviews or other deliverables so they can be resolved.
- Write longer form reports that synthesize multiple interviews into a coherent narrative for clients
- Develop necessary background knowledge and context continuously to serve as an expert generalist as it relates to the sectors and industries in which BHRP is active.
- Develop necessary knowledge and context continuously to serve as a specialist within assigned sector team.
Who you are:
- Has at least a bachelor's degree
- Has 3+ years of experience as a professional editor, preferably in a journalistic setting
- Has exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Can manage multiple projects simultaneously both as an individual and in collaboration with a team
- Is adept at quickly gaining an understanding of industries and business models then describing them to others in an easy to understand manner
- Excels at internalizing and adhering to house style guides and adopting an organization's voice.
- Has a background or interest in finance
- Has a keen eye for detail
- Is a selfstarter who takes initiative beyond explicitly stated goals or targets
- Can collaborate with a global workforce in person, over the phone, and through electronic means effectively
- Has a strong sense of ethics and can be trusted with confidential information

Salary:
£40,000.00-£42,000.00 per year
