Reed Finance are pleased to be supporting a successful central Essex based construction business who are in need of a new Finance Director to head up the finance function helping to support business growth and profitability.

Working with the CEO & MD, a few key accountabilities & deliverables

Working with the senior management team in formulating strategy and long term plans._
Preparation/Submission of Annual Statutory Accounts Pack including liaising with Auditors._
Responsible for overall financial control and day to day reporting._
Lead & develop the finance team._
Lead and manage the budgeting process._
Full management of Statutory reporting and month end requirements_
Standardise all accounting practices and processes & head up digital transformation_
Full responsibility for all management accounting, budgeting, forecasting and cashflow management_
Researching and reporting on factors influencing business performance._
Leading all necessary reporting, producing relevant MI for Director level_

A few requirements in order to be considered:

Fully qualified accountant or qualified by experience_
Relevant senior finance experience at the appropriate senior level_
Team Management experience_
Strong IT skills with experience of managing change_
