Warehouse/Machinery Operations Manager

£35,000 - £45,000

Our client is leading the development of têxtile manufacturing and technology, with worldwide talent and design expertise. Our client creates holistic sound scaping solutions with architectural interior acoustic products.

As Operations Manager, you will oversee and primarily lead and manage the production, machinery, warehouse operations.

This includes managing schedules, workload, on-time delivery and quality to our customers with the team, as well as interacting and workingalong with the other key functions of the business such as client services, purchasing, engineering, etc.

In addition, this role includes planning for future growth by scaling the operations and increasing capacity as required to be able to achieve the growthexpectations.

We have a fantastic opportunity for a self-starter who has experience in Production Management, Planning, and Project support, general operations management within a product engineering or manufacturing setting.

Other backgrounds will be considered if the applicant can demonstrate experience of similar duties in their past positions.


Duties will include:


  • Oversee/plan production
- supporting team in various projects

  • Liaising with internal teams, management, suppliers and customers
  • Proving support in planning purchasing activities
  • Visiting customer sites to ensure jobs are being completed to a high standard and within timescale

Experience required:


  • Confident to plan, prioritise, supervise to ensure efficient productivity.
  • Previous experience as production, planning or project manager or similar
Strong in finance and math

  • Excellent people and communication skills
  • Previous experience within purchasing desirable but not essential
  • Full driving and forklift licence essential
