Description

Service Delivery Manager. £53K + 10% Bonus + Benefits Package. Flexible Working & Hybrid Working - 1-2 day a week onsite. Oxford, Oxfordshire. Permanent. T6/MN/18345.

The role would suite a Junior Service Delivery Manager, Service Owner, Service Delivery Analyst, Asst IT Manager or IT Manager seeking to move into a Service Delivery Manager position.

A highly innovative global organisation is seeking to secure a Service Delivery Manager who will be accountable for the service lifecycle of a suite of global - Services / Applications / Products.

Applicants must be eligible to work in the UK.


Role:


  • Follow an ITIL based Service Management framework.
  • Ownership for the Continuous Improvement & management of changes affecting the services.
  • Point of contact for Service Management related activities.
  • Collaborate & maintain excellent relationships with all key business & technology stakeholders.
  • Ensure the service is designed to meet the needs of the business throughout the service lifecycle.
  • Account for the successful transition of products & services from Build to Run.
  • Monitoring and publishing service metrics to stakeholders.
  • Maintaining knowledgebase documents working towards selfservice.
  • Conduct periodic service reviews.
  • Identifying areas for service improvement.
  • 3rd Party Vendor Management ensure MSPs are delivering to agreed KPIs & SLAs meeting the business objectives.
  • Mentor Service Analysts.

Technical Skills / Experience Required:


  • IT Service Management principles & toolset experience.
  • ITIL v3/v4 knowledge ideally to Foundation level.
  • Stakeholder Management & Engagement dealing with all levels of business management.
  • Operating in a globally distributed organisation.
  • Leadership able to lead & motivate teams
  • Service Analysts.
  • Pragmatic & quality driven mindset.
  • Agile/SCRUM delivery frameworks have an understanding.
  • Service-Now, JIRA and/or Salesforce beneficial to have knowledge.
