Job Introduction

Lifestyle Reporter and feature writer to join the London team.
You'll be able to provoke discussion with content, create original stories in a variety of forms and have a proven track record of being able to take inspiration from all corners of the internet before competitors know anything about it.
Responsibilities
- Working with the lifestyle editor, social, SEO team as well as the picture and video desk to create bold, engaging and timely content
- Help to build a strong voice across our features output, including the way content surfaces on our site as well as on social and search
- Spotting great stories and having a passion to cover them before competitors
- Be confident in using contacts to create exciting exclusives
- Writing the best and most engaging lifestyle content, using a variety of formats
- Creating original stories and bringing in exclusives as well as making sure trending stories are covered in an innovative and imaginative way
Key Requirements
- Understanding of the UK Editors' Code of Practice, media and copyright law
- Excellent attention to detail
- Broad industry contacts and good relationships with news agencies, bloggers and community groups
- Video experience is a bonus
