Job Specification

This is an exciting opportunity for someone to join a team of Senior product specialists at a junior level with plenty of opportunity for progression.

Initially the role will consist of assisting the Senior Product Specialist for our Salesforce product with view to branch into other products in future.

The job role will consist of managing a pipeline of opportunities, training and supporting sales staff with product knowledge and assisting with sales.

You will be responsible for assisting with specialist product knowledge on calls with some of our largest customers and prospects.

Support with customer engagement and sales aftercare

You will also be tasked with facilitating training sessions, as well as assisting with new product launches and driving product uptake with new and existing customers via our sales and account management teams based across the UK.

To be successful as a product specialist, you must have a passion for the products you work with and keep expanding product knowledge.

Outstanding product specialists should have a keen eye for spotting market trends, a willingness to inspire clients, and the ability to work both independently and within a team.

Key Responsibilities

Supporting sales with product knowledge
Answering all productrelated questions
Organising workshops and refresher courses for sales.
Planning and assisting with new product releases and events.
Performing product demonstrations for customers, staff, and other stakeholders.
Identifying new market opportunities and relaying this information to the Manager and other relevant stakeholders.
Making helpful product recommendations and suggestions to increase revenue.

Essential Skills

Experience in sales, or customer service would be advantageous.
Ability to memorise details like product specifications.
Articulate and able to perform demonstrations that engage and inspire.
Superb verbal and written communication skills, as well as great telephone etiquette.
A strong growth mindset.
