Description

An opportunity for an enthusiastic and customer focused Procurement Manager has become available with my client, an organisation in the Exeter area.

The position will cover a wide array of spend categories for the business and work with the wider team to determine the most effective sourcing approach to deliver value and efficiency

Your duties include (but are not limited to):

Manage tendering, negotiation and ongoing supplier relationships to deliver a best in class procurement service.
Assist with sourcing strategy to identify areas of cost saving and efficiency improvement
Assist with project management including performing cost/benefit analysis
Conduct market engagement, tendering, evaluation, negotiation, and contract award activities to meet requirements and delivery time lines
Manage the performance of key suppliers, using appropriate metrics, to improve performance
Manage contract negotiations and create statements of work
Delivering solutions as required
Attend meetings when

To be chosen for the role you must possess the following experience:

Able to work in a consultative manner, advising on the best course of action from a procurement standpoint
Agile and adaptable, emotionally intelligent, and comfortable with complexity and ambiguity.
Focused, results driven, and supportive of the greater team.
Effective at stakeholder management and comfortable with engaging at all levels of the business both internally and externally.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Comfortable learning new computer systems.

Salary £40,000 - £45,000

Hybrid work available, Exeter based office 1-2 days per week.
