We are looking for an enthusiastic, motivated individual to work as a Senior Mental Health practitioner/clinical lead and to assist with the day-to-day management of this exciting new team.

In this role you will provide both clinical leadership and line management supervision to staff within the service.

Clinical time will include direct contact with people accessing the service, deputising on behalf of the Team manager when required and also assisting with developing the service in the initial pilot site of North and Central Trafford.

Trafford Living Well Service will be compassionately led, trauma informed, and recovery focused. We will also be developing peer mentor opportunities for people who have been through the service. CPD opportunities are available and personal interests/skills will be supported to develop and grow.

Living Well has co-produced key values and principles that all staff and peers share. As a result, our model is a humanistic and person-centred model of care. Our core values are based on creating open, honest, safe spaces and conversations where all people's strengths are valued.

The service operates between - 5 Monday - Friday excluding bank holidays.


The Living Well Service will enable timely access to mental health services when people need it most and provide support for people who might not traditionally meet the threshold or criteria of existing mental health services.

The team will be multidisciplinary and will also include third sector organizations.


You will need to have experience of triaging and signposting referrals as well as being able to liaise with multitude of agencies and professionals.

Experience and knowledge of community services and third sector organizations in Trafford will be beneficial for this role
