About Us

We're _
EchoBlue_
, a digital media company that publishes leading global B2B technology websites in the defence, aerospace, marine science and robotics sectors.

Our unique web platforms attract a large, global audience, with information about the latest technological developments and industry activities updated daily.

Our small, innovative team combines a wide range of expertise in web development, SEO, social media, copywriting and content creation, sales development and account management.

We're looking for an enthusiastic junior editor to enhance our content creation capabilities, to support us through a period of exceptional growth.

About the Job

Working with our content team, your primary responsibility will be to research and create news articles within the field of defence, aerospace and engineering.

This will typically involve finding, reviewing and interpreting product and company press releases, writing unique headline and body copy to suit our in-house writing style, and publishing to our websites ready for peer review.

You'll also be responsible for writing and scheduling social media posts to drive engagement with the on-site content you produce.

Day-to-day you'll be working with WordPress to publish content, so it'd be a real advantage if you're already familiar with the platform.

  • Producing adhoc promotional articles to highlight partner activities
  • Write posts for Twitter, Facebook and LinkedIn, and schedule for high impact engagement
  • Complete minor text edits to existing copy, or supplierprovided content
  • Liaise with the internal team and contractors to ensure timely updates in line with partner campaigns and ad hoc requests
  • Make minor content changes and managing other customer requests

About You
You'll need excellent understanding and use of English language, and an ability to interpret and adapt technical content.

You'll be a creative and tech-savvy individual, comfortable working in a small, collaborative team and happy to manage your own workload.

Experience working with WordPress is beneficial but not essential - thorough training will be provided.

We're happy to consider applicants with a wide variety of experience, from recent graduates to those with many years of experience.

Your work ethic, quality of work and ability to get the job done are far more important to us than your level of experience in industry.
