Description

BCP Media Mailing Department specialises in the production and mailing of medium to high volumes of brochures and marketing material.

Due to expansion they urgently require a Buhrs / Encloser Operator, Buhrs experience will be advantageous.

Must be able to set & operate the machines at commercial speeds whilst maintaining quality and mailsort verification.

Experience operating any Buhrs machine
Experience in the print industry
Skills in priotising workloads
A strong work ethic and can do attitude
Team commitment yet ability to work on own initiative

- (Not essential, would be a bonus) print finishing experience which includes guillotine work, PUR binding, ability to use Morgana folding machine and Duplo binder.

Responsibilities:

Operate and monitor machines to ensure they are running efficiently and producing highquality products
Set up machines for production runs, including tooling and assembly
Perform routine maintenance on machines to keep them in optimal working condition
Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during production
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

Skills:

Strong mechanical knowledge and aptitude
Proficiency in materials handling and inventory management

As a Machine Operator, you will play a crucial role in our mailing process. You will be responsible for operating various machines to produce high-quality products according to specifications. This position requires attention to detail, technical skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Salary:
From £21,500.00 per year
