Description
Our client is a successful and well-established company. They are looking for an experienced Quality Controller to join their team. This role would suit someone with experience in quality control / quality assurance in a manufacturing / production environment.

Previous job titles could include; QA Technician / QC Technician / Quality Assurance Controller / QA Controller / QC Controller / Quality Auditor / Quality Inspector / other quality related roles.


NOTE - Due to location, own transport is essential. The role is based at Low Marnham, which is 13 miles from Newark town centre.

Salary:
Circa £28,000

Shift pattern: 4 on 4 off, days and nights on rotation, 6am - 6pm / 6pm - 6am

Responsibilities:


  • You will be reporting directly to the QA Manager
  • Maintaining and promoting technical and quality standards
  • Carrying out online QC checking/auditing to ensure correct standards are applied and adhered to
  • This includes CCP checks, product quality checks, environmental checks, glass audits, hygiene audits and GMP audits, auditing against QMS and GMP, conducting product assessments, the monitoring, reporting and inspecting quality issues throughout the process. Including production, equipment, machinery, hygiene, finished product and lab results.
  • You will adhere to the quality manual and educate staff where necessary on the best practice and complete paperwork ensuring site is audit ready.

Requirements:


  • Experience in a QC or QA role withing a manufacturing / production environment.
  • You must display high attention to detail.
  • High Levels of accuracy with good problem solving skills.
  • IT Literate intermediate level with MS Office packages such as Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Proactive, task orientated and good at completing tasks and meeting targets in a timely manner.
  • Good level of functional skills.
