Finance Administrator - (Inside IR35)

Contract Term: 3 Months

Contracting Authority:

Location:
Hybrid - Lichfield 2 days a week in the office


The Ministry of Defence (MOD) is a central government department with a mission to protect our country and provide the ultimate guarantee of its security and independence, as well as helping to protect its values and interests abroad.


As a Finance Administrator your main responsibilities will be

  • Journal Preparation & Posting
  • IFRS16 initial contract assessment
  • Accounts Reconciliations
  • Multiuser inbox management
- processing of GL010 (cross TLB transfer of costs), misbooking journals (cross BLB), SDS Form 10 processing to amend/create Local Project Code

  • Assisting with Annual Reporting Requirements (consolidation of Capital commitments, IFRS16 liabilities and Right of Use Assets, Completed projects)
  • Year End Audit Support
  • Reconciling monthly expenditure relating to Assets under Construction. Liaising with DIO Business areas to ensure resolution of any issues.

Essential Skills

  • Experience in Financial Accounting to demonstrate understanding
  • Strong Excel skills
  • Please be aware that this role can only be worked within the UK and not Overseas._
