To work closely with the care homes catering time ensuring a high quality food service for the residents.

Responsibility's and duties

  • Prepare and cook food to meet requirements of planed menus.
  • Ensure all equipment used in the kitchen and dining room is clean tidy, hygienic and to external food safety standards.
  • Assist the Chef in preparing for special functions as required.
  • Ensure any special dietary instructions or correctly followed.
- to take the lead in the chefs absence.

  • Take responsibility for own personal and professional development through the performance and development reviews and attending all relevant training.
  • Comply with all company policies and procedures including health and safety and fire safety etc.
  • Comply a complete all E learning modules

Job Types:
Part-time, Permanent

Part-time hours: 30 per week


Salary:
£9.75 per hour
