The Job

The Company

A multi discipline Property Consultancy with an established Building Services consultant design department.

The Role

This project has just commenced on site (new build school) our client requires a Clerk of Works /Inspector - mechanical and electrical building services.

This is a one day per week role which will require you to inspect the installation, floor
- walking role and to ensure the installation is being installed as per the design.

You will be representing the client, attending a weekly meeting and preparing basic reports for the consultant.

This is a minimum 4 month contract one day per week.

You will be required to:
Review the installed, and the co-ordination of, services and interfaces
Witness and sign off services testing of services within completed areas
Liaise with Trade Contractors with regard to design change documentation
Manage progress and programming

Areas of the project with electrical technical interest include:
A engineer/inspector managing the various stages of the Mechanical & Electrical installation and ensuring delivery through to commissioning/hand-over.

You will be a proactive and passionate professional with demonstrable knowledge within the Electrical installation and Construction industry.

Results driven, our client wants a Clerk of Works, electrical biased who is methodical and analytical, able to avoid/solve strategic day-to-day problems.

Qualifications & Experience

Engineering qualifications

Previous employment working with an established Sub-Contractor or Consultant
Strong understanding of mechanical and electrical building services installation.
