The role


At Sheffield Teaching Hospitals we are implementing a new Electronic Patient Record that will transform the way that we work and care for our patients.

The people and resourcing workstream is key to the success of the project and we are looking for an enthusiastic individual to support our HR Business Partner, who is the People and Resourcing Lead, in delivering on all aspects of this workstream within the programme.


Working under the guidance of the HR Business Partner you will take the lead on the recruitment of approximately 200 roles from advert to appointment.

You will deliver regular updates on the progress of the recruitment and provide project support through which you will gain exposure to a wide variety of HR Practices including Recruitment, Organisational Change and Staff Engagement.


This vacancy is advertised on a fixed term contract basis for a period of 12 Months due to the post being recruited as part of a limited term project within the Trust.

The fixed term contract status of the post holder will be reviewed in accordance with the Trust's legal obligations regarding fixed term contracts taking into consideration the requirement for the post to be maintained as a part of the project's implementation and the timescales associated with this.

Who we are looking for


To be successful in securing this unique opportunity you will be looking to develop your HR Career and have an excellent understanding of recruitment, the NHS Employment Standards, the NHS Agency Framework and the requirements on an employer to comply with the Home Office Immigration requirements and DBS Checks.

You will have a proven track record of supporting recruitment from advert to appointment, using an online recruitment system (preferably TRAC) in a large organisation and be able to demonstrate experience of working to tight deadlines and reporting progress to internal and external stakeholders.
