The Role

Woodpeckers Diner has become an established diner within Clip 'n Climb Leeds serving Stone baked pizzas using our own recipes, along with burgers and sandwiches all freshly prepared to order.

To match this continued growth and success we are looking to recruit an individual with a good level of skill and kitchen experience to hold you in the best possible stead of being successful as well as being able to demonstrate that you are a great team player and being able to work unsupervised during busy times and keen to learn.

Joining our team as a Kitchen Cook we will give you the opportunity to develop important skills such as:

Communication skills by listening to customers other team members and management
Experience of working under pressure including managing a workload at busy times
Developing an understanding of customer needs and using this knowledge to improve the business
Working with regulations such as health and safety and making sure that colleagues understand them
Continued training will be provided where required

Prepare, cook, and serve a range of highquality hot food and drinks
Maintain our high standards of cleanliness in accordance with FSA guidelines
Upsell products in accordance with ongoing offers and daily specials

Job Type:
part time, job share is available for this position.

What can we offer you?

This position is part-time and includes working, Thursday, Friday, Saturday & Sunday's with additional hours in the school holidays with a basic of 16-35 hours per week.

Salary is based on age and experience; therefore, this position is ideally suited to those with previous experience of working in a commercial kitchen.
