A leading multi-national manufacturing business are currently recruiting for a Buyer based in Cheltenham (hybrid working) on a fulltime permanent basis.

The Buyer will be responsible for the operational activities surrounding the purchasing function on MRP system for all suppliers.

They will solely be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and relationship management including cost reduction activities, improvements in quality, on-time delivery, supplier management and development.

Role - Buyer

Type - Permanent position

Location - Cheltenham, Gloucestershire (hybrid working)

Salary - Competitive (DOE)

Key skills and experience required for the Buyer job applicant and not limited to:

  • Proven experience within a Procurement role, manufacturing background is preferred
  • Good working knowledge of ERP/MRP system
  • A high level of commercial awareness
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
