Job summary
We are expanding our teams of Clinical Healthcare Support Workers within our hospital and we're inviting caring, supportive people to take a look at this exciting opportunity to join us.We are looking for people who love working as part of a team to help others and can come to work with a positive attitude and a friendly smile.
Responsibilities
- Delivering personal care such as helping patients get up, washed and dressed, taking patients to the toilet, helping at meal times
- Contribute to patient assessments such as blood pressure monitoring, oxygen saturation levels, body temperature
- Recording your actions accurately in patient notes
The Skills We Are Looking For
- You need to be able to understand and communicate both verbally and in writing in English
- You don't need any formal qualifications in maths but you will need to have numerical and analytic skills to do patient observations
- You will need to have a customer focused approach which is essential to providing patients with the best possible experience
- You will need to be able to use IT systems and databases (training is provided)
- You will have the skill to focus on the details with the ability to spot problems
