Part time (2 days per week / 14 hours)

We have an exciting opportunity for a new member of staff to join the dynamic team at the St Padarn's Institute.


St Padarn's Institute aims for excellence in every area of delivery, with a central commitment to putting the learner first.


This is an exciting new role, created within Support Services, the team that underpins the day-to-day administration and communication of our Cardiff campus.


Job Purpose


We are looking for someone who will be able to add to our already experienced and versatile team in delivery of excellent customer service and administrative support.

The successful applicant will be highly organised, enthusiastic and have an administrative communication background within an educational or events setting


Knowledge, Skills, Qualifications and Experience

  • Essential_
  • Able to work as part of a team, with a positive and collegiate attitude.
  • Have experience of a wide range of general administrational procedures.
  • Have good numerical skills.
  • Have experience of working with Microsoft Office word and excel.
  • Are friendly and polite.
  • Have excellent administration skills with the ability to multitask and pay attention to small detail.
  • Possess good communication skills.
  • Are computer literate (training will be provided for site specific systems)
  • Have good personal time management.
  • Are selfmotivated and able to work on your initiative.
  • Are Committed/ Hardworking/ Reliable.
  • Exhibit a general willingness to be helpful, enthusiastic, and flexible.
  • Can work flexibly when required.
  • Can keep accurate & timely records.
