Our Adult Social Care department have an exciting opportunity for an Advanced Practitioner to join their Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub team who work together to protect adults who may be at risk of abuse, harm or neglect.

The MASH aims to improve the responses to safeguarding concerns through stronger links and better information sharing between organisations and agencies to lead to better outcomes for adults.


As part of the safeguarding adult team, you'll provide professional support and safeguarding leadership to qualified and unqualified social workers and other staff as directed, who form part of integrated community multi-disciplinary teams.


You'll provide leadership, advice and support to team members on risk assessment and management of complex cases and safeguarding work, and additionally on professional social work matters in order to promote personalised care pathways ensuring choice and control for all eligible individuals.


About you:

We need someone who can successfully motivate and build a team consistently to achieve and exceed personal and team objectives


You'll have experience of:

complex case work with different adult client groups, advocacy and user and carer involvement issues, business/financial management and taking effective action to achieve performance improvements.


You will have the opportunity to develop on your already existing in depth knowledge and understanding of Social Care legislation and regulations.

This would include personalisation, eligibility criteria, rehabilitation and reablement, Safeguarding and MCA, DOLS, Multi-disciplinary complex case work, CQC Care Standards and Human Right Act.


We do ask that you have a degree or equivalent Social Work qualification, registered with professional body and demonstrable commitment to professional development.

This is a public facing role so you'll need to show off your fluency in speaking and writing English.
