Description

We are recruiting for a Production Manager to join a manufacturing business based near Bolton.

The Production Manager will lead a team of 25 employees with responsibility for the day to day running of department and fulfilment of customer orders.

On Offer:

Monday
Friday 8am 4:30pm (early finish on a Friday)

- £45,000 - £50,000 depending on experience

10% bonus
7.5% pension

Duties:

Lead and manage the manufacturing team of 2530 employees.
Responsibility for overall output of the production department, ensuring weekly targets are met and products meet quality requirements.
Manage and plan workloads and stock levels in conjunction with the Production Planner, Supervisors and Procurement team.
Support the operations manager in continuous improvement initiatives.

Experienced required:

Previous leadership experience managing a large team with excellent people management skills.
Qualified in electronic or mechanical engineering at degree level or equivalent.
Strong understanding of electrical, electronic & mechanical systems and test equipment
Excellent leadership and communications skills
Knowledge of Health & Safety
Ability to understand and utilise Lean Manufacturing tools.
