Description
Imagine a future where you help enable the development of assets and interests of our existing and rapidly growing business by way of insurance

Join us in this role where you'll contribute to the management of our insurable risks, tender and place insurances, and handle claims.

Your role will be focused on our European Offshore business but will also involve other businesses in our portfolio.

Welcome to Insurance

You'll be part of Insurance where you, together with your colleagues, will engage with the business to define the desired level of insurance for our assets and interests, and explore how to place the insurances in the best way possible.

You'll be working with a wide range of stakeholders, both internally and externally.

We're a well-functioning team of mainly insurance specialists who all work very independently but enjoy the merits of team work as well.

We have one colleague in the US, one in London and the rest in Denmark.

As a team, we collaborate, embrace learning opportunities, share talent, and support development in an informal environment and with a humorous approach.

You'll play an important role in:

  • managing insurance tasks related to all stages of the business unit(s), incl. development, construction, execution, operation, and decommissioning for all classes of insurance
- managing contractual risks on all terms related to insurance provisions
- taking out necessary insurances with responsibility for insurance tenders, negotiations, and placements
- managing insurance claims, handling the interface between the business and loss adjusters/insurers as well as participating in and lead negotiations on claims settlements
- representing our organisation in the insurance community.

To succeed in the role, you:

  • have solid experience in roles such as insurance manager, insurance broker, insurance advisor, claims handler, lawyer, or legal advisor working within renewables
- have an insurance related degree or a degree in law
- enjoy working with and manage multiple stakeholders, both internally and externally
- can work independently while also being a natural team player
- have an eye for detail, have strong communication skills, and are good with numbers
- have a structured approach to your work and are used to delivering hands-on support effectively and with a high quality even when deadlines are tight.

Maybe you've read the above and can see you have some transferable skills, even though they don't quite match all the points.

If you think you can bring something to the team, we still encourage you to apply.
