***Bulk HGV Driver position is to provide timely and accurate delivery of products to Air Products customers and own sites in a safe and compliant manner, within agreed processes and procedures.

The role provides, a front-line business-critical activity, being part of the Air Products team supporting our continuing customer relationship, which improves retention on a long-term basis.

NATURE AND SCOPE

The role requires HGV drivers to deliver our products safely in accordance with legal requirements and our own safe working procedures throughout the UKI.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
This position is accountable for the following end results:

Adherence to all safety rules, processes, and procedures, as safety is a condition of employment.
Pre & Post vehicle check inline with DVSA guidelines, and Air Products standards, which may change from timetotime
Loading, unloading and all other activities associated with product management inline with Distribution working instructions and procedures available via 'RTL Knowledgebase app'.
Successful completion of all LearnEx and regulatory training as required.
Maintain tachograph infringement level inline with DVSA/Traffic commissioner expectations, and Air Products standards, whereby regular feedback, monitoring and coaching will be provided to ensure full compliance.
Other expected requirements inline with Bulk Driver Trade Union Recognition Agreement signed 8th August 2019, available on request via NNC or RTL Knowledgebase app or Air Products management/HR.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS AND QUALIFICATIONS

LGV 1 license (HGV Class 1/C+E unrestricted)
Proven tanker driving experience (Where required) and min three years consecutive driving experience operating the class of vehicle that will be operated at Air Products upon employment
Valid (in date) ADR Training Certificate 2,3,8 minimum (refreshed every 5 years)
Valid (in date) Driver's CPC Qualification Card (DQC) and evidence of current Periodic Training Status
Proven track record of working within a safetyfirst environment
Able to work under own initiative with excellent communication skills
Proven track record of ability to drive in a professional manner, and to achieve best in class performance relating to safety and efficiency monitored and supported by digital vehicle data
