MPE Utility Services Ltd are a leading face-to-face customer liaison company that covers all parts of the UK. Working alongside major utility companies as part of a national roll-out, we create appointments for customers to have their old gas and electric meters upgraded to new digital smart meters at no cost. This role includes visiting existing customers in their homes. All customers have been informed prior to the visit.

As such, we are looking for smart, confident, and customer-orientated individuals to join us as Smart Meter Booking Advisors.

Experience in a customer facing role is desirable but is not essential; the ability to work alone or as part of a team and enjoy the outdoors is however essential to succeed.

This is an exciting opportunity to develop your career, and you will be given full training for the role.

The key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Visiting existing customers in their homes, explaining the benefits of replacing their gas and electric meters with smart meters
  • Setting up appointments for customers to have their meters replaced
  • Answering any queries or concerns that customers may have with regards to smart meters

MPE Utility Services Ltd are a leading face-to-face customer liaison company working within the energy sector on smart metering, working with all of the major leading energy companies in the UK. We have had considerable success in booking over 300,000 installations.


MPE Utility Services has developed a unique approach with customers whereby we offer a pre-install survey and appointment booking service directly with the customer. We have invested heavily into a bespoke software system allowing strategic planning of every visit, reducing the travelling time between each install for the engineer.

The Person
The key skills and qualities of a Smart Meter Booking Advisor:

  • Experience in a customer facing role is desirable but not essential
  • Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills, able to communicate and build relationships with customers and people at all levels
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities, able to handle multiple workflows and client responsibilities whilst paying outstanding attention to detail
  • A team player that is also capable of working on own initiative
  • Highly selfmotivated, forward thinking, goal driven and loves the outdoors

Salary:
£27,000.00 per year


Schedule:

  • 8 hour shift
  • Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

  • Quarterly bonus
