Workshop Plant Fitter

Mobile Plant Fitter (Company van provided)

Bedford Depot - 45 hours per week - 7.30am to 5pm Monday to Friday

About you:

Are you a determined individual with experience working with Plant Machinery? Exciting opportunities have arisen for experienced Plant Fitters to join our talented and high respected team at our Bedford Depot.

You will be responsible for servicing and general damage repairs of our large range of plant machinery (telehandlers, excavators, dumpers and rollers).

You will be responsible for ensuring the plant equipment is safe and fit for hire by carrying out machine inspections and identify any defective parts or damaged components and repairing them to a high standard.

You must ensure you keep accurate and comprehensive service and maintenance records.

Essential:

Be able to work as part of a team as well as independently
Always ensures work is completed to a high standard
Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail
Customer focused
Excellent time management skills
Keep up to date with Company policies and procedures
Ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner
Good knowledge of electrical, hydraulic and diesel faultfinding
Qualified diesel mechanic

Desirable:

Experience working in the Plant Hire industry
