Fee Earner - Housing Disrepair

£25,000 - £30,000 DOE + bonus

Hybrid role, office hours in Macclesfield

Monday-Thursday, 9am-5.30pm

Friday 9am-2pm

The Role_

  • Ability to manage a caseload of Housing Disrepair claims
  • Legal Knowledge of the Housing Conditions preaction protocol
  • Legal knowledge of the CPR and fasttrack litigation process
  • Review reports from Surveyors
  • Carry out quantum assessments/reviews and formalising case plans
  • Ability to run issued, fast track matters with mínimal supervision.
  • To effectively act upon court directions and to prepare matters for trial
  • Experience of using Proclaim case management system
  • Experience of working in a fast paced, target driven environment
  • Attention to detail
  • Organisation and admin skills
  • Communication skills: written and verbal
  • Ability to work individually or part as a team
