NonStop Consulting is currently hiring for a renowned utilities company a Regulatory and Capital Reporting Accountant where your focus will include capital accounting and fixed assets, reporting key financial information to Ofwat and ensuring compliancewith relevant financial reporting standards.

You will be responsible for reviewing capital investment papers from a statutory and regulatory accounting perspective to ensure financial reporting standards are being applied appropriately and that regulatorydata is captured.

The role is hybrid so you would have to go into office in Durrington - Worthing (West Sussex) only a couple days of week and the rest will be remote working.


The requirements that this role entail are:

  • Must be part-qualified or recently qualified (ACCA, ACA, CIMA)
  • Experience with using SAP would be an advantage
  • Experience of working within a finance regulatory function would be an advantage
  • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
  • Be able to understand, analyse and communicate financial data
  • Able to work efficiently as part of a team and manage own workload
  • Excellent organisational skills, and ability to prioritise and meet tight deadlines
  • Able to maintain quality records of their work and analysis
  • You will have strategic ability, keen intellect and outstanding analytical skills.
