The Role:

A fantastic opportunity to join Venn Digital as Head of Marketing


As the Head of Marketing, you will be responsible for developing and implementing the digital marketing product for our clients, with a focus on driving growth and maximising ROI.

You will lead both branches of the Marketing team, managing our internal Marketing Manager, and Client Marketing Strategist.


In addition, you will maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends related to digital marketing and ensure that the organisation is at the forefront of digital marketing innovation.


Venn's Internal Marketing:


The responsibility of marketing our Vennture product, packages and bundles will sit within your role; you will be accountable for defining what is being offered in each of the packages, ensuring that they are easy to understand, and how they are portrayed on the website.

Additionally, you will create and manage the campaigns for our Vennture SaaS product.


With our Customer Success Manager, you will monitor client feedback, run NPS surveys, and feed back to the Product team to protect the image of the Vennture product.


With our internal Marketing Manager, you will collaborate on Venn's brand and tone of voice, advise and assist with campaigns they are working on, and work together to develop and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy that drives brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth.


Client Marketing:


You will be responsible for the Marketing product offering as a whole, creating a Marketing package, and ensuring the Sales teams understanding for pitching, and that the wider team have the knowledge to upsell to existing clients.


Along with our Client Marketing Strategist, you will oversee client campaigns and understand client business objectives, considering all available marketing channels to design a strategy and agree KPIs to report on, and present these strategies and their results back to the client.

You will collaborate with other departments to identify areas of improvement and implement changes to optimise digital marketing performance.

You will be responsible for tracking and analysing digital marketing metrics to identify trends and opportunities for improvement, ensuring that all campaigns meet or exceed their KPIs.


With the wider team at Venn, you will train various departments on campaign generation and management to contribute to the development of the team as a whole.

Finally, you will work with our Head of Search on recruiting, motivating, and training strategists within both of your teams.


Your Responsibilities:


  • Direct management of the Marketing team
  • Manage the marketing for the full Vennture product and it's packages
  • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams including product, sales, and customer success to align marketing activities with overall business objectives.
  • Define and monitor key marketing metrics to measure the success of marketing campaigns and programmes.
  • Work with the Customer Success team on customer feedback of the product.
  • Own the Marketing product offering
  • Develop and manage Venn's marketing budget, ensuring efficient use of resources to maximise ROI.
  • Work with the Marketing Manager on Venn's brand and TOV
  • Act as a stakeholder in client website project builds
  • Work with clients to understand their business needs, goals, and target audience, and provide consultancy on how to achieve their digital marketing objectives
  • Manage client budgets efficiently and accurately across multiple channels, ensuring all budget is accurately attribute budget to the correct channel or person
  • Have a thorough understanding of the servicelevel agreements and hold the team and clients to account, ensuring expectations are being set and managed internally and externally
  • Be the escalation point for account/client conflicts
  • Collaborate with the team to set goals, establish KPIs, and measure and analyse the performance of marketing campaigns
  • Manage and oversee the work of the marketing team, including hiring, training, coaching, and performance management
  • Identify and address capacity and resource management issues to ensure that projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard
  • Collaborate with other teams to ensure alignment and consistency across all marketing touchpoints
