Description
Liaison between Development and Operations for new products

  • Managing the transition of new products from R&D into manufacturing or supply (finished product)
  • Assembly process for new and existing products
  • Tooling for new products and maintenance of tooling
  • Liaising with contract suppliers for new products
  • Management and control of build data including BOMS from ECN releases
  • Design and layout of production build areas
  • First Article inspection and quality control
  • Supporting new supplier selection and quality
  • Documentation for all products including manuals, assembly instructions and QA checks for existing and new products
  • Involvement in any product issues from a manufacturing point of view
  • Control of the inhouse nonconformance procedure for delivered/built goods
  • Review and updating existing BOMS to reflect changes within the company product range
  • Establishing a process of recording software revisions in hardware builds build configuration management
